The province in Central China aims to rank among the country's top 10 patent economies by 2020, with annual invention patent filings projected to rise to 30,000 by then, according to an intellectual property development blueprint recently released by the provincial intellectual property office. Its capital Changsha and two business hubs Zhuzhou and Xiangtan are expected to play key roles in achieving the goal, local officials said.
